At Central Orthodontics, our friendly staff and down-to-earth approach, ensures a pleasant experience for patients of all ages. All staff members are registered with the General Dental Council and support their registration by attending courses in "Continuing Professional Development". They are a great team who help and support each other. This allows the practice to run smoothly and efficiently for the benefit of our patients.

I started my dental nurse training at Glasgow Dental Hospital, where I gained my dental nurse qualification in 1992. After qualifying I started my working career at Central Orthodontics where I have now been for 26 years. Throughout my career I have gained certificates in Oral Health Education, Radiography and Impressions.

Outside of work I help out on our family farm. I love keeping fit by riding my ponies and walking my dogs.

I have been a Dental Nurse at Central Orthodontics for 11years. I started my Dental nursing career in 2002 in General Practice, where I gained my dental nurse qualification. I then moved on to other areas of dentistry .During this time I worked within the salaried dental service where I gained experience of working in lots of different settings within dentistry in a hospital environment and also worked as an extended duties Dental Nurse within the Childsmile Programme applying fluoride varnish within a nursery setting. I also worked as a Dental Nurse Advisor at NHS24 for 2 years.

Outside of work I am a busy mum of 2 who enjoys spending time with Family.

I started my career in dentistry at the Edinburgh Dental Institute, gained experience in restorative, oral surgery, pediatrics dentistry and Orthodontics and qualified as a dental nurse in 2005. I was based in the Orthodontic department where I gained my Orthodontic nursing and finally my Orthodontic Therapy qualification in 2009. I started working for Central Orthodontics as a Therapist in 2010 and have been here ever since. It’s a lovely place to work and I am very lucky to have such a great team to work with!

I started working in a local General Dental Practice when I was 17 and studied part time in the evening at Langside College in Glasgow to pass my Dental Nurses Certificate. I then joined the team at Central Orthodontics in November 2006 where I went on to obtain my Certificate in Dental Radiography and Dental Impression taking. At home I do a lot of walking and attend my local gym. I enjoy working at Central Orthodontics and being part of a great team and also meeting the patients and their families.

I worked in General Practice for a number of years then moved to the local Community Dental and Hospital Service when I realised I enjoyed orthodontics, I then started working in Central Orthodontics in Falkirk where I have worked for 16 years.

I enjoy seeing our patients smile transformations, and being part of the team that achieves the end results.

I socially enjoy meeting with friends and family, walking my dogs, hill climbing and cycling.

I started my Dental Nurse training with the Public Dental Service in August 2012. I enjoyed working with the Community and in the Hospital setting. I also worked chair side for Trainee Dentists at the outreach clinics, which was a great learning environment. I started my post at Central Orthodontics in January 2014. Since joining the team here, I have completed my Impressions and Radiography training. I really enjoy my job, and working with a great team. It’s rewarding when we see the end result and have happy patients. Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I like keeping fit, running and bootcamp. Also enjoy going hillwalking.

In 2015 I got a job at Central Orthodontics. I enjoy my job and working as a team and seeing treatment from start to the finished result. Outside work I enjoy the gym and socialising with friends and family.

I have worked in a clerical environment for many years and moved on to being a dental receptionist in 2008 in a local dental practice.

I was then fortunate to become one of the team and start with Central Orthodontics in 2014. I enjoy welcoming patients to the practice and helping them with any queries or questions they have. In my spare time I enjoy walking my dog Ella, spending time with my family and seeing friends.

I trained in Edinburgh and Leeds. After working as a Dental Hygienist for many years I was offered the opportunity of adding to my skill set, by training to be an Orthodontic Therapist. This was a fantastic opportunity to advance my career and to be more involved in the treatment of patients. I enjoy the job as it is very hands on and seeing the final results is very rewarding.

I began general dental nursing in 2010 where I qualified within forth valley royal. I worked in many dental environments from hospital settings, Theatres, prisons to then working privately with the Scottish Rugby team. Having worked in all areas i.e orthodontics, implants or general dentistry, one thing was very apparent I wanted to manage a practice which gave every patient a fantastic service but also in a safe environment. Outside of work I am a mum to a little boy who keeps me on my toes & have a keen interest in Cooking and baking.
